How it all started

DomsAvenue is an Almere-based fashion and lifestyle brand, established in 2020. Created by a young couple named Dominic Sankatsing and Marylène Soewarto.

It started off with a small idea that came to Dominic's mind almost four years ago. "At that time I didn’t know where to begin or how to approach my dream. But a wise young lady reminded me that if I didn’t try, I wouldn’t know", Dominic says.
So we started experimenting with different fabrics and designs from existing stores and suppliers. We designed a logo and printed it on hoodies and t-shirts and sold them to friends and family. From that moment on, we knew DomsAvenue was born.

We wanted to create a brand that would really represent us. Both of us love to combine two different styles like office wear with sneakers, or in Marylène's case sweatpants with a turtleneck. Streetwear but keep it simple and comfortable, that's what we stand for. We want other people to be comfortable with who they are and with what they wear, just like us.

At a young age you have goals that you could only dream of, but we never would have thought that DomsAvenue would become a lifestyle. All of this is made possible by the grace of God. That's why we also represent Him in our brand.
